Winners announced for first Canadian Out-of-Home Awards

The awards recognize achievement in Canada's out-of-home advertising market.

The Canadian Out-of-Home Marketing & Measurement Bureau (COMMB) held its first annual Canadian Out-of-Home Awards to recognize the creative, technical and strategic achievements in out-of-home advertising.

Covering work from the past two years, this is the first award show dedicated to OOH advertising in Canada since the Billi Awards, which were hosted by the Outdoor Advertising Association of Canada (OAAC) in the late 1990s.

Over 300 campaigns in a wide range of product categories were submitted to the judges.

In welcoming the audience, COMMB president Amanda Dorenberg (pictured, above) said, “The OOH industry has proven to be resilient and it’s not just because of our undeniable medium, it’s the marketers who are in this room, the media buyers and the teams who are behind them. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our partners for this event. COMMB is amazed at the amount of interest and support we have received from brands and industry partners […] We could not have done it without you, and we wouldn’t have tried.”
