The network of creative agencies Plus Company is boosting its team by bringing on board media vet Paul Guité (pictured) as VP of analytics and insights.
In the newly created position, Guité will collaborate with Plus’ 24 agencies and their clients, using AI-assisted tools to optimize data collection and insights. According to the company, he will work closely with the strategy teams to systematize knowledge-sharing, particularly for clients within the same category.

With Paul now part of the team, I’m excited to see our approach solidify our commitment to finding solutions that align with our clients’ ambitions,” said Plus Company Canada EVP and president of the media group, Karine Courtemanche.
Guité brings more than 25 years of media and strategy experience. He worked for more than 10 years at Quebecor, where he led the insights team and was responsible for providing an overview of the competitive landscape to support the media group’s growth. Guité was also media director at Touché and Media Experts, and held the position of media strategist at GroupM for more than three years.
MiQ
Programmatic media company MiQ has promoted Hannah Scott to VP channel strategy and social.
Scott has worked with MiQ for almost seven years. She joined the company in 2017 as director of client services. After two years, she was elevated to VP of operations, with the task of managing and optimizing the operational processes. Later, she became VP of strategic partnerships and operations, where she has been responsible for creating and maintaining alliances to drive business growth over the past year.
“She has been instrumental in leading the growth of our social business over the last couple of years and her determination and passion shine through in everything she does,” said Rebecca Shropshire, the company’s SVP of commercial operations.
Prior to joining MiQ, Scott worked at PHD as a digital media strategist and at Microsoft Advertising as an account manager. She also spent two years at Verizon Media, where she served as strategic project manager.
In her new role at MiQ, she will report to John Goulding, chief strategy officer.
Kijiji
The Canadian online ad site has hired Joe Jabour as its new chief product officer.
Jabour, who has more than 15 years of product development, management and leadership experience, will head the strategic direction and development of Kijiji’s product portfolio, “driving innovation and improving user experiences for millions of Canadians,” says the company.
Previously, he worked as VP of product at eCommerce error detection and resolution platform Noibu, where he launched several features that enhanced the value of the site. He also worked at Smile.io, where he led product product management, product design and product marketing for the platform. Other companies in which Jabour has held senior positions include Borrowell and Kahoot!.
In other Kijiji moves, the company has promoted its chief financial officer, Ashley Lawrence, to chief operating officer. Lawrence, who joined Kijiji 13 years ago, following four at eBay, “has had a significant impact on the business, including building out the platform’s finance, analytics, strategy and revenue operations teams,” said the company. The head of finance and international markets, Amanda Zeffiro, has also been elevated to chief financial officer (CFO). As CFO, Zeffiro will lead Kijiji’s finance division and bring her perspective to drive greater business impact. She joined the organization more than a decade ago, having previously worked at Rogers Sports & Media.
