Vendo enters Medicine Hat
Toronto-based media company Vendo has acquired the digital and static media assets held by Harvco Signs in Medicine Hat, AB.
The move, which adds six digital and three static billboards to its inventory, is part of Vendo’s strategy to invest in secondary markets within primary regions, where there is strong local business support.
“These new media assets align with our long-term strategy to better serve local businesses and agencies,” explains James McDonell, CEO of Vendo. “Alberta and Western Canada present excellent growth opportunities and Vendo will continue to grow in these regions complementing our recent investments in Calgary and Innisfail.”
According to Joseph Kispal, VP of sales at Vendo, Medicine Hat represents a prime market for advertisers to reach. It has a strong agricultural and industrial economy, with a very low unemployment rate and affordable housing. “This acquisition strengthens our regional presence in an important Alberta market,” he adds.
This acquisition was transacted and effective as of October 24, 2024.
