Horizon Media, the largest global independent agency, unveiled its full-service, general-market ad agency One Horizon earlier this month in the U.S. And now it is coming to Canada.
Both the U.S. and Canadian arms of the agency will be headed by Roberto Alcazar, EVP, managing partner and creative chair of 305 Worldwide and One Horizon. Alcazar will oversee both agencies to ensure a unified approach across client needs. The teams will collaborate with Horizon’s established media and marketing divisions to offer comprehensive services across its client portfolio.
The agency is a wholly-owned affiliate of Horizon, and as such, will service One Horizon Canada clients with additional creative services, alongside Robert Jenkyn, president of Horizon Media Canada, and his team.
Horizon also owns a multicultural-focused creative shop called 305 Worldwide. However, with One Horizon, the agency group is able to expand its scope, Jenkyn says. “There are some clients that want full service, an integrated creative and media shop that’s like a return to the past. I can see that for some clients they want to have a more strategic and integrated focus. We have a small project with one client here in Canada, but we expect to see more in Canada in the new year.”
Horizon Media’s specialized divisions also include HS&E (sports and experiences), First Tube (moments marketing), Blue Hour Studios (influencer marketing), Night Market (commerce agency) and Green Thread (B2B).
