Spotted! Skip isn’t letting a little snow stop it from making deliveries

The Canadian-based company is encouraging people to skip life's hassles, including snow removal.

Skip, the Canadian-based delivery app which recently dropped “The Dishes” from its name, is sticking it to winter by partnering with a Toronto snow plow company to launch a fleet of custom orange snowplows, clearing the snowy streets to deliver Canadians what they need.

The stunt is part of Skip’s brand platform “Skip to the Good Part,” which encourages Canadians to forego the hassles of everyday life, such as snow removal. According to Skip, the fleet will be out all winter long and will only be used as needed.

Skip is unveiling its new Skip Winter Delivery Fleet with the launch of a new creative ad campaign across social media, OOH, and digital channels, showcasing the ultimate Canadian winter experience.

Skip is running programmatic OOH (or DOOH) across key markets in Canada. “We have also upweighted this presence with some site specific activity that will be running in Winnipeg, the West Edmonton Mall and across the TTC in Toronto,” a spokesperson from the app told MiC. “The intention for this activity is to generate awareness but also serve as a high impact reminder to Canadians as they go about their days that when winter hits, you can always make your life easier by skipping to the Good Part with Skip.”

As part of the promotion, Skip is offering savings of 30% or more off restaurant and retail brands, with new promos dropping weekly.
