OLG remained the most prominent radio buyer in Toronto for the week of March 11 to 17. That’s according to the latest Media Monitors report. Recording a total of 1,200 spots purchased, that marked a reduction from last week’s buy of more than 1,500.
Holding second place was BMO, while new list entrant Volkswagen took third place. The top-five was rounded out by Staples (up from #10) and Rogers (down from #3).
Despite OLG’s big buy, the banks, credit unions, mortgage brokers and financial services category was the top overall buyer in Toronto, with more than 2,800 spots between advertisers purchased.
Montreal’s top two advertisers also looked similar to last week; CTV and BMO remained in the #1 and #2 spots respectively. Volkswagen also entered the Montreal list at #3, while the top-five was rounded out by Bureau en Gros (new to the list) and Bell Internet and TV (down from #3).
For categories, restaurants and night clubs remained on top with a collective of 734 radio ads.
