Media Experts creates new VP role

Lloyd Lottner takes on an expanded client role, joining the leadership team following its founder's retirement.

Media Experts promoted Lloyd Lottner to a new VP, client business partner role in its Montreal office.

Joining Media Experts’ senior leadership team, Lottner will focus on shaping the agency’s proprietary planning products, providing greater insights and supporting strategy work for clients, as well as working closely with its offices in Toronto and Vancouver.

The role is a newly created one in Montreal, which the agency says was done to support growth in both its capabilities and clients based in Quebec. Lottner will work with Flavia D’Orazio, who remains SVP, client business partner in Montreal, and Kris Davis, who holds the same title in Toronto.

Media Experts’ client wins last year included Air Miles and Earth’s Own.

Lottner has been with Media Experts for nearly 13 years, first joining as a search analyst in 2008, and has since worked with clients including EDC, RCM, Novartis, Smart Reno and Bell. He was named managing director of its strategy and account management practice in Montreal in 2017, and will continue to lead the planning team in Montreal in his new role.

The new role isn’t the only recent change on the leadership team at Media Experts. Mark Sherman, who founded the agency in 1981 and served as its CEO, retired from the company as of the end of 2020. Robert Jenkyn, who was promoted to the president’s role in 2018, is now leading the agency.
