McDonald’s was the winner-winner chicken dinner on the AdEase Radio charts this week, landing on top of the spend charts in all the major Canadian markets for the week of Nov 6-12.

Hot on its heels was fellow QSR Tim Horton’s, with a combined 5,425 airings and jeweler Spence Diamonds, which aired a total of 3,266 ads, almost half of which were in Toronto (1,114). Among other big mover was fundraiser Covenant Foundation, which climbed 109 places to finish fifth in Edmonton, and Mazda dealers also went big, ranking sixth in Montreal after moving up 272 places.

Category-wise, the top three spending groups were QSRs, as well as auto repair and heating and cooling services, which jumped 19 places in Calgary, coming in at #6, and 18 spots in Vancouver, ranking fourth in the city.
