Tuesday was a big day for the Toronto Blue Jays and their hometown fans. Canada’s baseball team beat the Seattle Mariners in their home opener in front of a sold out crowd. And it was a big day for the Jays’ brand sponsors, too. While TD sponsored the home opener itself, new partnerships and promotions are still being announced. Here are some that were made public on game day.
A&W’s The Blue Jays Win, You Win Promotion
As part of A&W’s multi-year partnership with the Blue Jays, every time the team wins during the 2024 MLB season, fans who have the A&W mobile app will win a free offer from the QSR. To spread the word about the promotion, A&W filmed a spot with Blue Jay Vladimir Guerrero Jr. interacting with Allen, the A&W guy. “The Blue Jays Win, You Win program is a fantastic example of collaboration between our two brands to enhance the Blue Jays fan experience,” said David O’Reilly, director, corporate partnerships for the Toronto Blue Jays.
Home Hardware’s BeautiTone Balcony
Home Hardware, the official home improvement retailer of the Toronto Blue Jays, and makers of BeautiTone, the official paint partner of the Blue Jays, has opened up The BeautiTone Balcony in the 100 level of the Rogers Centre in time for game day. Fittingly, the branded balcony hangs over the home bullpen, and offers a clear view of left field. Located directly above the BeautiTone Marquee Sign, the BeautiTone Balcony features two tiers of standing room and a reserved group space for up to 40 guests.
Fitzrovia’s Exclusive Opportunities
Fitzrovia, Canada’s largest developer and operator of purpose-built rental communities has inked a multi-year, nation-wide partnership with the Jays. The deal will allow Fitzrovia to offer exclusive deals to its residents, like tickets and special game day experiences. Meanwhile, Fitzrovia signage will appear throughout the Rogers Centre. Adrian Rocca, CEO and founder of Fitzrovia said, “The opportunity to deliver exclusive experiences for our residents and to drive additional promotions throughout the baseball season aligns perfectly with our mission of enriching resident lives and reinventing the rental housing experience.”
