OMD Canada bolsters its leadership team

Meredith Menkes, Diana Walter, and Amanda Tathem will report directly to CEO of OMD Canada Cathy Collier.

In an effort to strengthen its leadership team, OMD Canada made a trio of appointments this week.

Meredith Menkes, who joined OMD last year to lead the McDonald’s Canada business, has been promoted to chief client officer. Diana Walter, who has been leading digital strategy for clients in Vancouver since 2012, has been promoted to head of digital; and Amanda Tatham joined OMD as managing director earlier this year after working for several agencies in the U.K.

“Meredith, Diana, and Amanda each bring a unique perspective that will build on that foundation and help modern marketers drive growth for their brands,” said Cathy Collier, CEO of OMD Canada.

This week, a new report from leading independent and international research company COMvergence revealed OMG agencies outperformed the marketplace for billings growth across all four regions. And for the second consecutive year, OMG had the highest share of spend among the six global media groups. The agency was also the most honoured media group at the Cannes Festival of Creativity last month, earning the highest combined total of Lions and short list placements.
