Industry News: Media Pulse to run Gusto TV’s Canadian ad sales

Meanwhile, Magnite has been selected as FIFA+'s global programmatic provider in different countries, including Canada.

Media Pulse, a Blue Ant-owned connected TV marketplace, has been named sales partner in Canada for Gusto TV.

With this new partnership, Media Pulse will offer its clients ad opportunities across the full range of Gusto TV’s CTV inventory. Gusto is an international food channel with over 60 original titles, including award-winning series such as Cook Like A Chef, Bonacini’s Italy and Flour Power. Its programming is broadcast in English and Spanish in more than 160 countries and on 40 different platforms.

Deborah Gurofsky, recently promoted to SVP and general manager at Media Pulse, said the partnership with Gusto TV will enable the company to connect brands with a diverse, hyper-interested, streaming and food-loving audience. “This collaboration reinforces our commitment to being the go-to marketplace for CTV inventory, and we look forward to offering brands direct access to premium content in the food and lifestyle space,” Gurofsky noted.

Media Pulse enters into the agreement with Gusto after becoming Discovery+’s Canadian sales partner. Under that partnership, the company offers advertisers CTV slots on a wide range of entertainment and lifestyle programs from networks such as Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, Animal Planet, and Lifetime. Before that, Media Pulse signed a deal with global in-game advertising platform Anzu to exclusively represent its entire in-game inventory for Canada, which encompasses popular game titles across multiple platforms.

FIFA selects Magnite to drive video advertising on FAST channels

Magnite has been selected as FIFA+’s global programmatic provider. The advertising company will drive video and display advertising on FIFA+ in Canada, the U.S., EMEA, LATAM and APAC.

FIFA+, a streaming service for soccer games and original movies,  will leverage Magnite’s suite of products – including Magnite Streaming, SpringServe and Magnite DV+ – to monetize its content on a global scale and provide an enhanced viewing experience for fans. Magnite’s technology will help deliver advertising programmatically to all devices where FIFA+ is available for download, including mobile devices, desktops and CTV.

According to Sam Wilson, VP of streaming platform for EMEA at Magnite, the partnership marks an important step in FIFA’s efforts to revolutionize the soccer broadcast experience for fans around the world, bringing previously untelevised matches to audiences. “FIFA+ is meeting the consumer demand for more accessible live sports content and we’re proud that they’ve chosen us to help unlock more opportunities for advertisers to reach highly engaged sports fans,” Wilson said.

Magnite works with a variety of media owners to monetize their content across all screens and formats, including CTV, online video, display and audio. Magnite Streaming is the company’s streaming SSP that helps media owners maximize the value of their assets across live and VOD inventory, CTV and OTT environments, and addressable linear. SpringServe is an ad server purpose-built for video that helps media owners deliver high quality viewing experiences, and Magnite DV+ (formerly known as Rubicon) is an SSP that handles display and video, as well as other formats such as native, audio, and DOOH.
