Overtime games and Hail Mary touchdowns led to some dramatic finishes during last weekend’s NFL Playoffs.
Ratings for the four games overall were up 15% over last year on CTV, according to Numeris numbers provided by Bell Media.
The most-watched of the four matches was Sunday night’s game that saw the Denver Broncos beating the Pittsburgh Steelers to move on to this weekend’s AFC Championship. The match was watched by an average audience of 1.8 million viewers.
The Broncos will be heading to the AFC Championship with the New England Patriots, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday afternoon. That game was watched by an average audience of 1.5 million viewers.
On the NFC side, the Arizona Cardinals beat the Green Bay Packers in overtime, with an average audience of 1.6 million viewers tuning into the action.
The Cardinals move on to the NFC Championship with the Carolina Panthers, who beat the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. That game was watched by an average audience of 1.5 million viewers.
The NFL Playoffs continue this Sunday on CTV and RDS, with the AFC Championship at 3 p.m., followed by the NFC Championship at 6:30 p.m.
