Aegis Media has hired Angela Courtin in the newly created position of EVP, content and convergence.

The former MTV co-head of integrated marketing will work across all of Aegis Media’s agencies, including Carat, Isobar, Vizeum, Epic, iProspect and Posterscope. Her responsibilities will include extending the brand’s leadership in using branded entertainment and content to create closer connections between brands and consumers.

Before working at MTV, Courtin worked as head of marketing, entertainment and content at MySpace.
