Rogers Communications has announced the appointment of Corby Fine to the newly created position of VP, business development, platforms and innovation, within the Rogers Digital Media team.
The expanded role will combine the existing business development, audience solutions, ad network, and platform management teams into one group, which Fine will lead. Fine will report directly to Jason Tafler, chief digital officer, Rogers Media, and be responsible for spearheading all new digital business development, innovation and platform management and leading new digital strategy development.
Fine has spent the past four years with Rogers, and most recently was senior director and general manager of audience solutions and business development, where he initiated the launch of iVillage and partnerships with NBCU/Comcast. Prior to joining Rogers Digital Media, he was a group account director at Bensimon Byrne.
Fine steps into his new role effective immediately.
