Bleublancrouge is bolstering its media team, hiring three members aimed at strengthening its analytic and programmatic offerings.
Dave Gourde, VP of media at the agency, says recent national integrated account wins (which they can’t yet disclose), led to the need to grow the digital team.
“Also more and more the clients are asking us to help them with their databases, they don’t know what to do in terms of data planning,” he says. “We are going from a ‘plan and buy’ mode with media to a ‘learn, plan and adapt’ mode.”
The new hires include Charles Beaulieu, who joins the agency as director of digital media and programmatic. Beaulieu comes from internet strategy and marketing consultancy Adviso where he worked as digital media practice lead for programmatic.
Nicholas Landry comes to Bleublancrouge as the head of data strategy. His role will include integrating data and audience management at the agency. Landry’s last role before joining the agency was at web technology company Seedbox, where he worked as product director. He has also held roles including VP of product and operations at Acuity Ads and worked at Bell Media’s Montreal office as associate director of performance media for over three years.
Also joining the Bleublancrouge team is Mireille Baradhy, who comes to the shop as a programmatic analyst. Baradhy most recently worked at Rogers Communications as an account and audience intelligence specialist. At Bleublancrouge she will be responsible for the performance and optimization of digital campaigns.
