Sportsnet, TSN unveil regional NHL schedule

Rogers has over 130 Canucks, Oilers, Flames and Leafs games, with Bell airing 131 Leafs, Habs and Senators matchups.

Rogers Sports & Media has announced the regional games that will compliment its slate of national NHL broadcasts this season.

Between its national and regional rights, Sportsnet will broadcast all 82 games from the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames, with 56 Toronto Maple Leafs games, bringing its total number of regional broadcasts above 130, similar to the number of national broadcasts it is set to deliver this season.

Regional broadcast rights for the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators are with TSN. This season, those broadcasts include 50 Canadiens games (sponsored by Molson Export) and 55 Senators games (sponsored by Canadian Tire). TSN also has the regional rights to the 26 Maple Leafs games not broadcast by Sportsnet.

The regional schedule complements the national schedule Sportsnet released over the summer, with games airing on SN Now, SN Now+, as well as the NHL Live service. The season begins on Oct. 13, and will feature the return of Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey (with 36 games), Hockey Night in Canada on Saturdays (with 95 games, once again simulcast on CBC) and Rogers Hometown Hockey, now airing on Mondays (with 25 games).
