OverActive Media finds another new sponsor in Nobis

The luxury outwear brand is the latest to partner with the company to get in front of a gaming audience.

OverActive Media (OAM) has signed Nobis as the official outerwear partner for Toronto Ultra and Toronto Defiant, its two Canadian professional esports teams.

Nobis is OAM’s first partner in the luxury retail space. As part of the brand’s involvement with the two teams, Nobis will get exposure through custom content, such as fan engagement pieces that integrate Nobis branding and products.

Nobis’ digital broadcast presence began with Toronto Ultra’s opening weekend from Feb. 4 to 6, and will include major tournaments like the Call of Duty League’s Major I Tournament in March. The Toronto Defiant aspect of the partnership will launch in the spring with the start of the 2022 Overwatch League season.

Additionally, Toronto Ultra and Toronto Defiant will also support Nobis’ “#NoColdShoulder” CSR program, a global initiative designed to collect gently worn jackets and place them on the shoulders of vulnerable community members.

Along with its ambitions of becoming a leading company in the global esports industry, Toronto-based OverActive has been bringing on numerous sponsors to fuel its growth and give brands access to an in-demand gaming audience. Sponsors OverActive brought on in 2021 include Bud Light, Kraft Heinz, Jack Links and Red Bull, with TD expanding on its previous partnership.
