TikTok has secured The Walt Disney Company as the latest publishing partner for its premium ad product, Pulse Premiere.

With this move, brands will be able to place ads next to Disney’s most popular content on TikTok’s “For You” feed. Disney joins a list of Pulse Premier partners that includes BuzzFeed, Condé Nast, Dotdash Meredith, Hearst Magazines, NBCUniversal, Vox Media and WWE.

Pulse Premiere has been available on TikTok since last May and is an extension of the Pulse product that launched in 2022. The premium option gives brands more control over where to place their ads and allows publishers to monetize their content on the platform. Since TikTok launched Pulse, it says companies using the premium option have increased brand recall by 9.8% and awareness by 6.8%.

Disney has also partnered with TikTok to launch an exclusive entertainment hub on the platform today called Disney100, in line with the year-long branding campaign for its 100th anniversary.

The hub will feature videos from Disney brands such as Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and ESPN. It will also allow users to create their own videos with Disney music and effects, play daily Disney trivia and collect cards of their favorite characters to earn frames that they can use on their profiles.

Additionally, TikTok is preparing a Disney100 playlist with some of the most popular songs from classic movies, including Cinderella, The Lion King and the upcoming Wish movie.
