The latest AdEase report shows that Intuit was the most active advertiser on TV during the week of July 22 to 28.

The company totaled 3,395 combined occurrences during the week, ranking first in Vancouver, second in Montreal, third in Calgary and fourth in Toronto. It was also the most active advertiser nationally on specialty TV, followed by Crave TV. The company increased its buy compared to last week, when it recorded a total of 2,531 occurrences.

McDonald’s also upped its spending, recording 3,166 occurrences, 98 more than the week before. The QSR continues to invest heavily in Toronto, where it recorded 871 incidents during the week.

Other advertisers that boosted their spending included Leon’s Furniture, which scored 2,436 combined occurrences, and Trivago, which recorded 2,030 total occurrences. Crave TV also increased its buy, with 835 more occurrences than the prior week.

Intuit placed first in the ranking of top spots in Vancouver and Montreal with an ad about its QuickBooks accounting software (pictured), which allows business to create invoices, track cash flow, accept payments, see what’s sold and plan for the future. Meanwhile, Leon’s commercial about its 0% interest promotion put the retailer in first place in Calgary and Toronto.
