CSI: Vegas is looking like it could be another hit, according to Numeris ratings for the week of Oct. 4 – 10.

The sequel to the original CSI series and fifth installment in the franchise was the top-rated program of the week, and is also the first broadcast of the fall TV season to surpass two million viewers. Looking at major markets, CSI topped the ratings in Toronto/Hamilton and Calgary.

The Good Doctor, which premiered in the top spot the prior week, dropped to third nationally, behind 9-1-1, which was also the top-rated show in Edmonton. The Rookie and Survivor rounded out the top five.

In Quebec, the top-rated programs have begun to fall into a bit of a pattern. TVA’s The Masked Singer adaptation once again landing in the top spot with 1.661 million viewers, followed by dance program Revolution and Radio-Canada comedy Discussions avec mes parents.
