Horizon Media Canada has made some changes at top, with one new hire and two promotions to its senior leadership team.
Among them is the hiring of Jarrod Charron, who has been named VP, business solutions, reporting to Sheri Rogers, who has been promoted from SVP, business solutions, to EVP, business solutions.
Charron spent the last 12 years at PHD, most recently serving as its planning director. At Horizon, he will work on the Burger King, Benjamin Moore, Wild Brain and Petco accounts.
Rogers joined Horizon in early 2021, coming off of two years as SVP and managing director at Denstu Media. In her new role, she will oversee all core client relationships and work with the
senior team to elevate staff and output, and strengthen client partnerships. She will also have a seat on the agency’s Canadian executive team, reporting to EVP and general manager Kevin Kivi.
Also reporting to Kivi is Michael Mills, who has been named VP of marketing and growth. Mills joined Horizon in 2018 from Mediacom, and was promoted to VP, business solutions the following year to lead the business solutions team. In his new role, he will work with all executive leaders at Horizon Media Canada and the broader Horizon Media organization to find growth opportunities through business development and external marketing.
