Glassroom creates new roles to support the agency’s growth
Glassroom, the media agency that’s part of the Humanise Collective, has bulked up its management team with the hire of Isabelle Baillargeon as chief operations officer, and Thierry Lessard as VP of audiences and insights.
Baillargeon, who joins the agency as chief operations officer for the Toronto and Montreal offices, brings more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, having started her career at Cossette and spent the last 20 years at Touché!. She has been tasked with helping to develop internal talent and strengthen synergy within the Humanise Collective. As business lead within OneTeam, she will work to meet growth needs through media and business optimization.
Meanwhile, Lessard will leverage his multichannel media expertise to pilot the integration of data at the core of the media strategy delivered by Glassroom’s experts. As part of his remit, he will work in partnership with Baillargeon to contribute to Desjardins’ media transformation. He joins Glassroom after working for over seven years at Cartier, most recently as director of data and technologies.
According to Glassroom, these new positions have been created to support the company’s growth and to better meet the evolving needs of its clients. They bring greater depth to the agency’s multi-disciplinary management team, while allowing Glassroom to continue to evolve its service offering and develop new competencies.
“The creation of these two strategic positions comes at a key moment for Glassroom, as our growth has made us competitive for major accounts, and our OneTeam model has been attracting a growing number of advertisers,” explains Dave Gourde, president and partner of Glassroom.
Cossette Media promotes two of its group account managers
Cossette Media has elevated its national group account director of digital, Marissa Cristiano, to associate VP.
In this expanded role, Cristiano will lead the agency’s digital media strategy, product development and operations across its client portfolio. Her role will focus on elevating the digital impact of her clients through innovative solutions. Cristiano will continue to prioritize client service, fostering high-level relationships and informing strategic decisions that help clients achieve their business goals. She will also be key in guiding the team to bring product innovations to life, the agency says.
Cristiano joined Cossette in 2021 as media director, and previously worked at UM Worldwide as connections planning supervisor, and at Mindshare, as digital planning manager.
Cossette Media has also promoted Ashley Lewis to associate VP. Lewis will assume similar responsibilities to Cristiano from the Vancouver office. She and Cristiano will split the portfolio for English Canada. Lewis joined the agency as director of digital solutions and then became group account director of digital in the Vancouver office.
