Publicis Canada names new associate vice president
Shannon Robinson has been named Publicis Canada’s new associate vice president of its sports and entertainment team.
In a LinkedIn post announcing her new role, Robinson says, “I’ll be focused on delivering bold, creative, and ground-breaking experiential work – designed to connect brands with people in unforgettable ways. We’ll be shaping partnerships that go deeper, crafting experiences that move people, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in this space.”
Previously, Robinson was vice president of brand experience at Brand Momentum. Her other experiences include director of client services at Mosaic North America and project coordinator at Launch!

Horizon Media Canada strengthens digital activation team
Horizon Media Canada is expanding its digital activation team with three hires to support rising demand and campaign delivery, according to the agency.
Joining the company are Becca Burgess as associate director, a seasoned media professional with six years of expertise in leading cross-channel campaigns and driving client success; Aaron Hinton as supervisor, who brings over five years of digital media experience in performance marketing and programmatic strategy; and Michael Hatswell as senior buyer, with four years of hands-on experience in media buying and optimization across various sectors.
Horizon said it will make further announcements about recent new business wins and additional key hires in the coming weeks.
“Their combined experience and fresh perspectives come at a pivotal time of growth. As we continue to build momentum, their contributions will play a key role in driving innovative, high-performing digital solutions for our clients,” said Mat Horst, VP of digital activation.
The agency makes these hires after its parent company, Horizon Media Holdings, named Bob Lord as its first president in January. In this newly created role, Lord reports to Horizon’s CEO and founder, Bill Koenigsberg, and is responsible for driving innovation for Horizon, as well as overseeing its portfolio and developing business in each of its offices. The executive also handles international strategy.

OMD Canada welcomes senior director of marketing science
Ben Driver has been named the new senior director of marketing science with OMD Canada.
Driver steps into the new role after nearly six years with Mosaic North America, where he was director of measurement and analytics.
Driver’s previous roles include consultancy work at IMI International in Toronto and Mavens of London in the U.K.
