According to the latest AdEase report, Subaru topped the TV advertising rankings for the week of May 26 to June 1.

Subaru dominated the ad space with 2,910 occurrences, securing the top spot in Vancouver and Calgary, second place in Toronto and third in Montreal. The automaker’s strong performance can be attributed to a prominent ad highlighting the capabilities and design of its 2025 Subaru Crosstrek model (pictured).

Crave TV surged to second place with 2,184 occurrences, after ranking third the previous week. McDonald’s jumped to third with 2,048 occurrences, up from fifth place last week when it scored 1,138 occurrences. The top five was completed by Interprovincial Lottery Corporation with 1,453 occurrences and Tim Hortons with 1,364 occurrences, although Tim Hortons had previously dominated the list with 2,628 occurrences.

In Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal, QSRs are a dominant force, with popular chains vying for consumer attention. TV and streaming services are also a major player, as networks and platforms compete for viewers’ eyeballs. Meanwhile, everyday banking institutions are working to establish trust and loyalty with customers.
