Kraft’s Jim Kozak joins CBC Revenue Group

The hire follows Jack Tomik leaving to join rival Rogers Media and Alan Dark being promoted to general manager of the sales division.

More changes have happened at the CBC Revenue Group, with Jim Kozak joining as director of sales, Olympics and sports partnerships.

Kozak comes to the pubcaster after a stint as director of consumer promotions for Kraft Canada, where multi-brand partnerships he stickhandled included the Kraft Hockeyville program for the CBC.

While at the CBC, Kozak will oversee sales for the 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games, the Pan-Am Games, and the FIFA World Cup, among other major CBC sports properties.

Kozak will report to Alan Dark, who was promoted to general manager of the CBC Revenue Group after Jack Tomik left to join rival Rogers Media.

“Having worked closely together on a number of projects in the past, I know what a great team they (CBC) have in place and I’m looking forward to helping create unique, industry-leading opportunities for our partners with these world-class properties,” Kozak said in a statement ahead of joining the pubcaster on Oct. 29.

The pubcaster earlier this week named Jeffrey Orridge as general manager of the CBC’s Olympic-related business.
