CTV has the number one ratings grabber of the fall season’s new shows, with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. bringing in an average total viewer count of 2.48 million per week from Sept. 24 to Nov. 11, according to numbers from BBM Canada.
The Bell Media channel has three of the top five new shows, with Friday night reality show MasterChef Junior bringing in 1.60 million average total viewers per week to come at #3 and Monday night drama Hostages landing at #5 with 1.311 million average total viewers per week.
Shaw Media’s Global Television took the other two spots, with new Monday night 10 p.m. drama The Blacklist at #2, bringing in 2.19 million average total viewers per week and 9 p.m. drama Sleepy Hollow landing at #4 with 1.51 million average total viewers per week for the time period measured.
Overall, the number one most-watched program in Canada (new or returning) for the season so far is The Big Bang Theory, which has brought in 4.13 million average total viewers per week.
