After a whirlwind round one, the second phase of the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs has officially begun.
Broadcast details have been announced, with games available on TV on either Sportsnet or CBC, and all games live-streamed through both Sportsnet Now and Rogers NHL Live. Playoff games will also be available on radio, with participating stations including Sportsnet 590 The Fan, Sportsnet 960 The Fan and Sportsnet 650.
The puck dropped the evening of April 26 with a face-off between Pittsburgh and Washington. Coverage continues tonight in the Winnipeg vs. Nashville series. Following the Leafs’ deja-vu Game 7 defeat, the Jets remain the only Canadian team in the Playoffs.
In addition to second-round coverage, Sportsnet will also present the 2018 NHL Draft Lottery on April 28. The program will also run on CBC as well as streamer Sportsnet Now. Host Daren Millard will pair with NBC’s Kathryn Tappen to unveil the lottery results over the course of the evening. Picks 15 through four will be revealed during Hockey Central Saturday beginning at 7:30 p.m., with the top-three picks being unveiled during the second intermission of the match between San Jose and Las Vegas.
Sportsnet will air nightly installments of Hockey Central Tonight hosted by Ron MacLean, Elliotte Friedman, Kelly Hrudey and Nick Kypreos.
On Omni, select Saturday night games will be delivered on Hockey Night in Canada: Punjabi Edition on Omni.
