Mindshare Canada has given three elevated roles to established staffers to help it on its path to transformation.

Julia DiClemente, previously VP and managing director of fellow GroupM agency Neo Canada, is now Mindshare’s SVP and business lead. Meredith Menkes has been promoted from VP and business lead to VP and business growth lead. Stesha Scott, previously group account director with GroupM’s m/Six, is now VP and business lead, filling Menkes’ former role.

“We are evolving our Mindshare leadership team as we move forward into a new and determined future,” says Lesley Conway, CEO of Mindshare Canada. “Mindshare is actively transforming our business to set us up for success, accelerating our good growth proposition for our employees, clients, the industry and society.”

In particular, Conway points to digital technology, B2B and evolving consumer behaviours as the main drivers for the agency’s transformation.

DiClemente has held several director positions at digital transformation-focused Neo since after joining the agency from Starcom in 2014, where she also held several digital-focused roles.

With Mindshare for more than 12 years, Menkes has focused on strategy and communications planning. Before joining Mindshare, Menkes held senior strategy and planning roles with PHD and Mediacom.

Scott also has been with Mindshare for nearly 12 years with the agency, rising through several client services roles. Before joining Mindshare, she spent five years as strategy supervisor at OMD, and has also taught media studies at Durham College.

Other people moves at Mindshare this year include Conway coming on as CEO in May and Kathy Kline joining as chief strategy officer the following month. Wins this year include picking up the General Mills Canada account in the spring.
