Broadsign acquires European DOOH ad tech provider

The partnership will help to expand OutMoove’s targeted DOOH campaign tools globally.

Canada-based Broadsign, out-of-home (OOH) advertising platform developer, has acquired Netherlands-based digital OOH (DOOH) ad tech provider OutMoove. The transaction, which includes OutMoove’s business and DOOH demand-side platform (DSP) technology, will enable OutMoove to scale and expand geographically while giving Broadsign access to OutMoove’s expertise and specialist OOH clients.

OutMoove was one of the first DSPs built for DOOH. The company works with top European and U.S. agencies such as GroupM, Outsight and others in the U.S. The company’s DSP includes intuitive DOOH media planning tools like automation of workflows and dynamic creative support. OutMoove presently works with specialist OOH agencies in Europe and the U.S., and the current plan is to continue to focus on those areas.

More than 1.5 million static and digital signs along roadways and in airports, shopping malls, retailers, health clinics, transit systems, electric vehicle charging stations run on Broadsign technology. The Broadsign Platform helps media owners such as Outfront, Pattison Outdoor, Global and Intersection streamline their business operations and maximize revenue opportunities while enabling marketers and agencies to easily plan and execute dynamic OOH campaigns.
