L’Oréal Canada has moved its media planning and buying to GroupM following a review.
The move comes following L’Oréal Canada’s first media review since 2005. ZenithOptimedia had held the L’Oréal Canada account since 1998, and retained the account during the review in 2005, Stephane Berube, GM, media investment and innovation, L’Oréal Canada, tells MiC.
Berube says Kelly Clark, CEO of GroupM North America led the Canadian pitch and the agency will start work on L’Oréal Canada’s planning and buying in 2014 by creating a sub-agency to service the account similar to how it is handled in Germany.
