Noah Vardon has joined Omnicom Media Group (OMG) as group EVP of OMG Canada, a new position for the network.
Most recently president, Canada and chief client officer, North America for Havas Media Network, Vardon is now responsible for OMD, PHD, Touché, and Hearts & Science and will report in to Cam Reston, CEO of OMG Canada. In August, Louise Simkin took over as president, Canada at Havas.
In addition to more than three years with Havas, Vardon previously held senior positions with Cossette Media, Initiative and Mediacom.
In selecting Vardon to join OMG, Reston says the agency sought someone with a clear vision of media transformation. Last year, Vardon led Havas’s acquisition of data analytics agency, Noise Digital. “Noah’s knack for creating and scaling diversified services and challenger mindset make him well poised to deliver business growth for our clients.”
“My vision is to deliver a strategy that ensures we are ahead of the rapid pace of change for our teams and clients,” says Vardon, following his arrival at the agency. “While we lead today, we will need to look different tomorrow – as technology and consumer expectations change. This new era and vision will create an unbeatable edge for our agencies, our clients, and a winning culture for our teams.”
Vardon’s appointment at OMG comes at a time when the agency has been making a few changes to its leadership team. Earlier this month, Caroline Moul moved from being the president of PHD to become president of Creo Canada, Omnicom Media Group’s influencer marketing brand, while Erica Kokiw took her place as PHD’s president.
