Blue Ant Media has announced three senior leadership promotions.
Jamie Schouela has been named chief operating officer; Carlyn Staudt is now president of global channels and streaming; and Mitch Dent has been promoted to president of Canadian media. The company says these changes aim to drive growth and strengthen its global and Canadian operations.
All three will report directly to Blue Ant Media CEO Michael MacMillan. “These strategic promotions underscore the proven business acumen and operational strength of our senior team at Blue Ant Media, positioning the company for continued growth and enhanced value creation,” MacMillan says.
Schouela will lead M&A, business development and service groups, building on his previous role as president of global channels and media. In addition, Schouela will also collaborate with each business unit.
Staudt will continue overseeing global channels and streaming. She will also continue overseeing the growth of Blue Ant Media’s worldwide channel footprint across all platforms, including FAST, SVOD, AVOD, YouTube and Pay-TV.
Dent will focus on Canadian operations, including specialty TV, free streaming and advertising revenue. He will also continue to oversee advertising revenue across the company’s diverse multi-platform portfolio, including Media Pulse, a leader in the connected TV and gaming advertising marketplaces.
According to the company, these promotions aim to drive Blue Ant Media’s expansion, across its global and Canadian business segments.
