Who’s activating at the Grey Cup?

Shaw, Nissan, and Mark's are partners for this weekend's football match.

TSN announced the official partners of the 106th Grey Cup, with automotive, media and mobile brands signing on for broadcast coverage of the big game at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta.

Partners for this year’s Grey Cup, presented by Shaw, include Nissan, Sirius XM and Freedom Mobile, with the Grey Cup Radio Network on TSN Radio being presented by retailer Mark’s.

Shaw’s presenting partnership includes the prominent feature of the brand’s name and logo, while long-time partner Nissan will serve as the first quarter sponsor, a role it has held throughout the past CFL season.

The automotive brand will also sponsor the Grey Cup Saturday broadcast (beginning at noon ET), with its ongoing Keys to the Game commentary program also being featured during the game. The Saturday broadcast also features updates, news and analysis from the CFL on TSN panel at the Edmonton stadium.

While Sirius XM was named sponsor of the kick-off show, Freedom Mobile is set to sponsor the half-time show, during which Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara will perform.

Last year’s Grey Cup broadcast dominated most Anglophone markets, according to the December 2017 ratings, with 4.1 million viewers tuning in (up from 2016’s 3.65 million).

Pre-game coverage of the Grey Cup match between the Ottawa Redblacks and Calgary Stampeders begins Nov. 25 beginning at 1 p.m. ET on TSN.
