The sheen of premiere week has worn off, with some programs pulling in notably lower numbers than last week. However, the Numeris results for the week ending Oct. 11 show that many of the same programs still dominated the charts.

The Masked Singer stayed on top, but pulled in an AMA of 1.87 million viewers after pulling in more than two million the previous week. Also in second place for another week was Saturday Night Live, which continued its hot streak with 1.54 million viewers.

Big Brother continues to pull in big views, with two broadcasts taking in more than 1.2 million viewers each. And the Saturday night news rounded out the top-five with 1.23 million viewers.

A number of new series pulled off impressive showings; the reboot of The Weakest Link pulled in 1.19 million viewers, while Canadian co-pro Departure was right behind it at 1.17 million. Global thriller Next also pulled in 1.1 million viewers – and all three appeared in at least one regional top-five.

In Quebec, the viewers continued to grow for La voix, which grew its viewership to 1.49 million viewers.
