Kira LeBlanc has been promoted to VP of global marketing at Montreal-based programmatic company Hivestack, just seven months after joining the company.
Hivestack hired LeBlanc in February as global marketing director, bringing experience from running her own consultancy, as well as roles like head of marketing and communications for Curate Mobile and senior communications manager for Verizon Media.
The expanded VP role is meant to enable LeBlanc to be more hands on in bridging Hivestack’s global strategy to the local markets where it operates, which include 17 countries globally. Last week, the company delivered its first programmatic OOH campaign in Hong Kong.
Growth across markets has been an even bigger priority for Hivestack since hiring Nikki Hawke as CMO one year ago. Since then, it has struck deals to expand access to advertisers in other markets, grow the inventory available on its platform and add to its data capabilities. Last month, Hivestack also signed with The Trade Desk to make its offering available globally through the new Solimar DSP.
